the best comment week ever

not only did i break 100 for the first time ever - how can i go back? i hope you see what you've started now and accept responsibility for it; from now on you all have to comment on every post i write, however dull and uninteresting it is - but i also got my first dirty comment! woo hoo! don't worry, i've deleted it now, but apparently someone really, really liked the mrs. beetons meg made for me and wanted me to wear them while... yeah. let's not go there. i'm still alternating between laughing and feeling quite nauseous. i think i need to boil them for 20 minutes before i wear them again.

as for the contest - wow! so many entries! and yet none of you managed to guess the right number. the correct answer is that i have 38 sets of circular needles. now, i thought that was quite a few, until some of you started guessing dangerously close to three digits. hardly!

a bunch of you were very close, though, and the first four to guess just one off the right answer won. angela guessed 37, and since she was the very, very first to leave a comment, she got to choose her prize; the sock yarn and needles go to her. congrats, angela!

the other three winners were also only one off, and for their prizes i enlisted the help of the husband. he was rather unenthusiastic about the whole thing until i told him to pretend it was a drawing for the world cup or something.
